Loved all the space between each rv spot. The walking trails are short. We saw a a lot of alligators along the bank. We LOVED the seafood market down the road!
Nice place. Super quiet and away from major traffic noise. We tented and it was very nice. It's set in a bayou so make sure you've got some repellent. The staff were really helpful and friendly. They have laundry machines too here. It's the best close location to the French Quarter if you're doing the tourist thing. Be aware use the address to find this place in your GPS. If you find it as a point of interest the access road doesn't exist.
Great state park...mostly (all?) back-in spaces, but lots and lots of space around each camper. Trees, wooden porches, playgrounds, FREE laundry facilities, hiking, dump station on the way out. Easy drive to NoLa proper. Will definitely stay here again...want to experience the Wave Pool next summer!
Excellent well kept RV park a ferry ride away to the French Quarter. The only thing that could make this better is sewer connections at camp site and a additional clean out station. I still gave it 5 stars because the price is right.
The playground area here is nice the camping area is nice this scenery is nice the staff from the girl that takes your money to the park rangers are all rude mean and nasty for no reason. They made you feel like you were bothering them to spend your money. Pulled over to the side by the boat launch on a day when there was absolutely no one in the park and had the park ranger treat me and my grandkids like we were a bunch of criminals.
